Summary/Abstract: A modern novel, a fresco of transforming mentalities, of an urban universe, a metamorphosed world, eager of loving of life in all its splendor, an infusion of intellectualization, at a time when the assertion of human individuality was considered imperative, when the desire for something new and sensational was high and required the discovery of all the secrets behind the unseen. In the period between the two world wars, humanity was eager for knowledge, thirsty to live life as a continuous show. Under these auspices appears the first novel written by Anișoara Odeanu, ʺIn a Young Ladies' Manorʺ, followed, shortly, by the introspective journey entitled: ʺTraveler on Eve's Timeʺ, a creation that follows the same anticalophile writing style of Camil Petrescu, which bears the seal of continuator of her former creative writing.
