Summary/Abstract: Dobrogea was and continues to be a region where several ethnic groups coexist, each with its own culture that ensures its uniqueness in this region. In addition to the Daco-Romanians, many other ethnic groups settled here, including the Lipovan Russians. Leaving their homeland and choosing the status of an ethnic minority, the Lipovan Russians kept their traditions, customs, language and dress, but especially their faith, in the territories of adoption. For the values they believed in and still believe in, they assumed a precarious existence in less favorable territories. For more than three centuries, the Dobrogea cultural treasure has included the creations of the Lipovan Russians who managed to preserve the perpetuation of their group identity by preserving their traditions. Lately, the proximity with the majority ethnic group or with other ethnic groups has favored the metamorphosis of the musical repertoire according to the sensitivity and ethnic specificity. The present research aims to analyze the morpho-functional aspects found in the "Bride's Song" from the bridal repertoire of Lipovan Russians from Sarichioi, performed vocally only by women.
