Summary/Abstract: The problem of aging prisoners in Poland is growing every year. Elderly prisoners are discriminated because of their age, they are rejected by other inmates, sick, and in most cases not adapted to the conditions outside the prison, which diametrically change with time. The purpose of this paper is to discuss available forms of post-penitentiary support for persons aged over 60.
