Summary/Abstract: The article presents selected forms of poetry on the Internet and its importance for literary learning. In the beginning the current state of poetry and methodological problems in poetry research are discussed together with the question why poetry is well developed on the Web. The next chapter presents criteria for the selection of lyrical forms for educational purposes. The main part of the article is devoted to the description of lyrical text archives, writing forums, animated poetry, multi-media digital poetry and lyricism of the Stuttgart Group. Finally, ideas for the use of digital poetry in teaching of literature are presented.
