Summary/Abstract: The article presents the role of blogs in the literary education of German language teachers. The first part discusses the role of new media and edublogs in the educational process. Then are discussed the didactic functions of teaching with blogs. The main part of the article presents the literary and educational blog LiteraBLOGtur. Presented are its origins, organization of work, learning aims, learning contents, achievements and problems in working on it.
