Summary/Abstract: The often criticized topic is the way in which the content of education is mediated to pupils (in the finished / processed form) and the role that the pupils play in the educational process (they do not have to think critically in many cases, evaluate the information, or interconnect it for mutual connections). In the present paper, authors focus on the role of a textbook and its analysis in the History subject.
