Summary/Abstract: This article reflects on the need for increased effectivity of teaching in relation to implementation of teaching standards and changes to the valid curriculum.The text describes, discusses and compares goals and methods of innovation of professional practice within pregradual training of teachers at the Pedagogical Faculty of University of Ostrava.
