A radiography of the health system in Romania)

Summary/Abstract: After the 1989 events, Romanian society has known a vast modernizing process based on reforms. The Public Health System’s reformation has been one of the areas to have generated some of the strongest debates. Almost every change in the Government’s composition has reopened the public heal thre formation necessity. In order to better understand the current situation and possible medium and long-term solutions to the matter, I am therefore proposing analyzing some of the European public health systems, that would enable us putting things in perspective and properly evaluate the current state in Romania and high ligh tpotential perspectives and possible course of actions.
