Summary/Abstract: The first half of the XXth century was one of flourishing and development in religious song from the western part of the country. Was a period in which the musicalreligious multiculturalism came to over, imposing rigorously in the religious musicliterature space. The multicultural connections with the old peoples birth, in thisblessed by God part of this country, this “new” method of singing to which, with hisgorgeous art, the tireless composer Trifon Lugojan, offered the light of printing. Butall these multicultural connections, aren’t nothing then some pearls, which beautifies the byzantine music from the western part of the country. The musical works ofTrifon Lugojan remain until today the reference works for the church choir from theWest of Romania
