Summary/Abstract: 76 years ago, between February 4 and 11, 1945, Roosevelt, Churchill, and Stalin planned to reorganize Germany and Europe after the war at the conference in Yalta, a city in Crimea. At the time of the Yalta Conference, the Soviets had approached Berlin only 65 kilometers away. At that time the Yalta Conference was codenamed ”Argonaut Conference”. The city of Yalta was chosen after I. V. Stalin rejected Greece, Malta or Cyprus on medical grounds.
