Quality assurance in secondary education: between policy and practice

Summary/Abstract: Current trends in education, global goals for sustainable development and changing expectations of stakeholders put on the agenda with increasing force the topic of quality assurance, control and management in the educational institution.. The study of quality processes shows the regulatory framework, the responsible institutions and the distribution of their responsibilities, the main features of quality, the quality management system and indicators for its measurement. The priority directions for intervention in terms of quality assurance and measurement in secondary education are outlined.
