Summary/Abstract: This study approaches the contribution of rev. Prof. Ene Braniste to the developmentof the Romanian liturgical theology. Analyzing the work of this great theologian,I have presented in this paper just two major directions that can be derived fromthe contents of his rich theological works. I considered him to be, fi rst, a brilliantmystagogue of the Holy Liturgy and secondly, a creator of a historical vision of theChurch’s worship.
