Summary/Abstract: Imagology is a cultural science paradigm, the insights of which are utilized not only in comparative literature but also in historical science, mental history, political science, anthropology, and social psychology. After a general, historical introduction, the article provides an insight into the imagological research underway at Sapientia – Hungarian University of Transylvania, Faculty of Economics, Socio-Human Sciences and Engineering of Miercurea Ciuc.
