Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the semantic analysis of the Polish verb {przemilczeć [coś] (przed [kimś]) (to withhold sth)}. The meaning of the analyzed verb is described in opposition to the Polish verbs of keeping information secret: {ukryć [coś] przed [kimś], kryć się z [czymś] przed [kimś]} and concealing information: {taić [coś] przed [kimś], zataić [coś]}
