Summary/Abstract: Quite neglected lately, the analysis of the protection of the rights of the elderly is indispensable to understand in depth the factors that led to the current state of affairs in Romania, as it is known that we can not talk about a state of freedom of the citizen until then when he has the opportunity to exercise his rights without restriction. This state can only be achieved in a system of government that allows the citizen to feel safe and thus contribute to the proper development of the society in which he lives and the only way in which this state can be achieved is through democracy. In a state, it matters not only every individual member but also their totality, seen as a society and which the state must protect from any threat from both outside and inside the country and ensure national security through its own bodies. , created for this purpose. Why are the elderly dangerous? Because I understand too much! And when I don't understand, I ask questions! Are they dangerous because they still have a value system? Because I demand human dignity, social and national justice?
