Summary/Abstract: Corruption crimes are a special problem for the Romanian society, and the means of preventing and fighting this scourge must be adapted to the new challenges that make the Romanian justice system difficult to test. The criminal liability of the legal person in the case of corruption offenses is a relatively new topic for the Romanian legal system, because until long it was not established that crimes, including corruption, were committed in a material way, but by individuals.Contemporary reality has shown that due to the rapid socio-economic progress that has been made, the capacity and special force of legal persons to commit crimes, especially corruption, has increased alarmingly. The prosecution of a legal person for committing corruption offenses requires different and complex activities compared to those carried out in criminal investigations against a natural person, so the effort is a special one.
