Summary/Abstract: Sensory area to gether with motor area are areas of develoment which have reciprocal infuĺuence and one area cannot develop without the other. Movement is needed to gain sensory experience and to provide stimuli, and for motor development, some sensory stimuli and the ability to process the map propriately are needed. The area of sensory and motor skills is key in the education and support of pupils with severe and multiple disabilities. In the text we will pay attention to some concepts focused on the area of sensory perception and processing of stimuli, such as basal stimulation, Snoezelen. We also focus on selected approaches and strategies to support motor skills as Sherborne therapy, rebound therapy, and the program M.O.V.E.
