Global Challenges for Social Security – Contemporary Guidelines of the International Social Security Association

Summary/Abstract: This article explores the new challenges of social security systems around the world. Although countries have different social systems, they face similar problems provoked by the evolution of the social environment. These new global challenges are being systematized by the International Social Security Association and are a milestones of the social systems of countries that are more or less affected by them. Analyses and summaries made in the presented article could serve to formulate strategies and policies for the development of different social models, as well as to adapt them to the changing reality.
