Based on practical studies made in some Romanian organizations, this paper analyses work focuses on the identification and classification of the stress agents characteristic of the managers’ activity. A coherent picture is thus outlined of the causes of stress in the managers’ activity, and the solutions which have the greatest chances to prove efficient in reducing such causes are brought into discussion.
