Summary/Abstract: The memoirs of some of the protagonists of the peace treaty of Bucharest signed on May 7, 1918, shed light on the antagonism within the alliance of the Central Powers, on the hegemony of the leaders of the German Army over the political leadership and explain the discredit suffered by the German diplomacy in this context.
