Summary/Abstract: The study describes the stages of successful curricular reform and explains how they were implemented in Slovakia. Based on questionnaire research at Slovak elementary schools the study compares the view results of a group of teachers who were supportive to reform changes with the group of teachers who refused them. The consequences of non-acceptance of the fundamental conditions and steps of the reform are based on an analysis of interviews with teachers and their attitudes towards reform changes.
