Summary/Abstract: The study presents the results of factor analysis of the Strategies of Critical and Creative Thinking Questionnaire. Among these strategies are Strategies for the developing self-regulation; Strategies for developing systematic and interpretative skills; Strategies for argumentation development; Strategies for development of conclusion and troubleshooting; Strategies for development of evaluation and Strategies for development of reading skills. These factors allow researchers to assess the preferences of specific strategies for developing critical thinking at specific school subjects as well as identify strategies applied by practicing teachers within their internship, depending on the school subjects (natural science, language, social science, education), type of school (high school, grammar school, middle school) and the level of education (lower and upper secondary education). Subject implementation also helps develop individual conception and teaching strategies. ( as part of VEGA 1/0098/17 Individual conception and teaching strategy in context of professional development of the teacher).
