Summary/Abstract: There has been made an attempt to depict the impact of hunters ‘patron’s cult onthe hunting culture as well as ceremonials and painting representations.The research subject of the given paper are the selected examples of Saint Hubertheritage meant by intellectual, spiritual and material acquis in its entirety. The analysesindicates that the cult of St. Hubert influenced significantly the culture and hunting ritesas well as iconographic texts. The manifestation of St. Hubert cult can be various texts,churches and temples as well as temples devoted solely to their patron, organizing massesand celebrating in honor of the Saint and organizing painting exhibitions where the maintheme is the St. Hubertus’ vision.The patron of hunters and foresters , becoming the gestalt unifying people closeto woods and building the bond of belonging to a group, symbolizes the values respectedby the previously mentioned occupations as well as being the vital part of spiritual andmaterial heritage of the society.
