Summary/Abstract: Christ likeness is precisely the ultimate goal of man. In achieving this goal, he has the opportunity to exercise his own freedom and to value the whole complex of ontological capacities contained in the divine image within him. The fact that God has allowed man to become more than he is, represents, in the patristic view, a fully fair perspective, because in this way the man to be the worker of our God-likeness.
