Summary/Abstract: Autonomic nervous system has an important rule in cardiovascular system regulation. its dysfunction can be found in many cardiac diseases, ischaemic heart disease, diabetes mellitus, Parkinson‘s disease, cardiomyopathies, etc. Examination by Adreview (123I) (metaiodbenzylguanidin-MiBG) enables to determine concetration of sympathetic nervous system receptors in mycardial muscle and reveal even asymptomatic stage of cardiovascular autonomic dysfunction. Adreview (123I) is a metabolic analogue of adrenergic blocker guanethidin. There is no enzymatic degradation in nervous synapses in contrary to noradrenaline.
