Summary/Abstract: In the last two decades, both politicians and health officials have drawn attention to foods with a double standard of quality that are marketed in various European countries. Identifying the same brand that sells a product with the same packaging but with a different composition has provoked various disputes, including in the European Parliament. Imposing quality standards has proven to be one of the solutions. But, until their implementation, a good education of the young generation in terms of food quality, reading labels and promoting healthy products remain some of the effective solutions.
