Summary/Abstract: In this article the authors provide the results of a study on science teachers’ views about key competences. This survey has two directions: direction 1 – discusses knowledge about the essence of key competences; direction 2 – explores contemporary approaches and methods that teachers apply in education in order to develop key competences.
