Summary/Abstract: The presented article focuses on the issue of social disadvantage in children in kindergarten and draws attention to the facts that practice brings and can be a challenge in realizing the importance of the social environment from the perspective of teachers. Kindergarten is usually the first institution in a child's life to help the child become independent, cope with environmental change, acceptance of pedagogical authority and other key areas that determine his/her successful/unsuccessful start in primary school. Kindergarten is conceived here as an institution that determines not only the child's social career.
