Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the education system in Singapore, which has been the focus of intense international interest for the past two decades. Singapore’s education system is gaining worldwide attention due to the excellent results of its pupils in international assessments such as TIMSS (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) or PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment). The article presents the reader with education system in Singapore from pre-school education to tertiary education and its comparation with Slovak education system.
