Summary/Abstract: In the beginning of the 17th issue, the deputy director of „Astra Salvensis” journal, Mihai-Octavian Groza, speaks about its history and about the way how, in its 9 years of activity, the journal developed and changed both under the qualitative and quantitative level. Aspects like the editorial team and its change, the thematic distribution of the text, peer-review process, the performance and the way how it was encouraged by the editorial team and the scientific committee, are all presented inside the present text. Of course, together with the historical side, the author speaks also about the future developments of the journal.
