Summary/Abstract: The Great Union that took place in 1918 is not just an opportunity to honor the sacrificial offering our forefathers gave us. It is also not just an instant that must be immortalized in eternity, but it is a moment that shows us that the Church and faith can help a people to survive. Romania has gone through two world wars but the Romanians have managed to gather around the ecclesial institution, feeding spiritually and going through history. Great Romania strengthened by faith and sacrifice, having the conviction that the Romanians' happiness everywhere can not be lived without the fulfillment of their homeland. The inhabitants of these lands did not feel their domination unless the country was free and its Orthodox dignity felt only by national responsibility.
