Summary/Abstract: The Internet of Things (IoT) is an increasingly popular technology in industry, so-called smart cities and homes, or health monitoring. The article presents the characteristics of electromagnetic emissions of various wireless communication technologies used in IoT (WiFi, Bluetooth, RFID, Zig-Bee, cellular networks, etc.). It also presents criteria and methods for the assessment of occupational electromagnetic hazards related to the use of such devices.
