Summary/Abstract: One of the basic characteristics, and also the gifts of life, is the power of speech the use of language and communication. We speak of «the Word of God or the Speech of God, on the one hand, and the speech of man and humanity, on the other.» Linguistic-semantic studies of verbs that support and point to the unique phenomenon of speech and communication, but also to the sanctity of language with which man was endowed by the act of creation, reveal many verb forms present in human communication. Semantic fields of verbs of speech, communication and natural sounds are part of a large system of semantic fields, but always found at the very top on the scale of their statistical frequency. Due to the exceptional importance of words, speech and message in the Qur’an and the fascinating distribution of verbs of speech and communication, and verbs that indicate the act of speaking and speaking in Arabic in general, this paper will point out some features of the semantic field of these verbs, based primarily on the corpus of the Holy Qur’an. In its impressive array of forms, the verb qāla, occupies by far the most space in the Holy Qur’an.
