Summary/Abstract: This essay deals with the presentation and of translation and reception of Muhammad Iqbal’s works in the Arab world and the Arabic language. The author notes that most of the poetic works of Muhammad Iqbal are rendered and poetically translated in Arabic and published in a Diwan in two large volumes. A separate section of this essay, deals with translating of “Reconstruction of religious thought in Islam”, into Arabic and the Arabic reception of that (in many opinions) the most important theoretical work of Iqbal. This essay also explains briefly why the thoughts and poetry of Muhammad Iqbal in the Arab world are perceived as restorative and iğtihād, why his poetry is considered supportive for fresh intellectual and religious endeavours. This essay also brings many accounts on Iqbal by famous people from the Arab and Muslim world.
