Summary/Abstract: Stress aspects still remain as an existing problem, whichrequires further interdisciplinary studies. Considering thestrong impact of chronic exposure to psychosocial stressorsat a workplace in relational and incentives contexts ofundertaking professional duties, those aspects gain in importancein teacher’s work. A person stays in a continuouscontact with a student, parent or another teacher, and theirmotivation seems to be a key aspect for the entire educationprocess. The presented article is an attempt to capturestress indicators in a teacher’s work, as well as ways ofdealing with them in a school reality. The article beginsby highlighting the most important stress definitions, followedby a brief methodology of self-research. Then theauthor describes stressors present in teacher’s work, whichwere identified in empirical studies, and ways of dealingwith stress used by tested teachers. The article ends withconclusions and recommendations for further representativestudies.
