Summary/Abstract: The interview took place in Kyiv in February 2012 in the cult club Kupidon, which is also the informal headquarters of the FEMEN movement. The interview took place after a celebrated action in Belarus in front of the KGB headquarters (in December 2011). In response, the Femen activists were kidnapped, transported to a forest and threatened. Inna Shevchenko talks not only about this well-publicized action, but also about the origins and beginnings of the FEMEN movement, the ideas behind it (many critics accuse them of lacking ideological foundations in their activities). The interviewee answers questions about why FEMEN has chosen nudity as a form of protest and if Ukrainian feminists should limit their slogans and activities to their own country and issues related to improving the situation of women.
