Summary/Abstract: This study aims to examine the distance education studies of students who are 8th grade in the COVID19 pandemic and who are preparing for the transition to high school (LGS) exam and the reflection of this process on their psychology. In the study, data was collected from students using a semi-structured form consisting of eight open-ended questions. The obtained data were analyzed by content analysis method. As a result of the study, students do not have sufficient technical equipment to participate in distance education activities, together with economic factors, and therefore they cannot attend the classes regularly. Moreover, students had difficulty in understanding some lessons in this process and their exam stress increased because they could not understand the subjects sufficiently. The COVID-19 pandemic process changes students' sleep patterns, eating habits, physical activities and the time they spend in front of the screen. It also affects students' motivation and study time.
