Summary/Abstract: Alberto Manguel, writer and essayist from Argentine gives many definitions of the “ideal reader” in his book The Reader on Reading; some of which are “Ideal readers not only reconstruct a story but also rewrite it” and "Ideal readers not only follow a story: but also get into it.” Sooronbay fits within these two definitions in his poems. Not only did Sooronbay, who can be defined as a writer-poet/reader, reconstructed the "stories" of novels and stories of Cengiz Aytmatov but also he got himself into the works and heroes. It is also possible to observe that Sooronbay does not watch the stories as an "ideal reader" but agrees with him. Here, we see Sooronbay as an ideal reader of Jamila, Nayman Ana, Yedigey, Akbara, Boston and Bazarbay and his recreation of all these stories and characters. He may well be seen in his newly created the dramatization of the story “Face to face” as Seyde, Ismail, and so on. We may observe him as an ideal reader as he participates in the story.
