The Contract for Accomodation of a Child by a Foster Family

Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the new legal framework of the foster family in Bulgarian legislation. The accommodation of children is based on contracts. The characteristics of the contract are discussed in the first part. The main specific feature is that one of the parties to this contract is a public administration agency — the Agency for Social Assistance. The author also describes the obligations of the parties and the standards to be set for their implementation. There are special reasons for breaking of the accommodation.
