Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper was to present the importance of regional and tourism books f or t he tourism market on the example of the town of Grudziądz, Poland. The paper discusses the concept of and the motivations for heritage tourism as well as the role of the tourism product, which includes tourism and heritage books. Also, the reasons for purchasing tourism products are discussed and different types of tourism books are presented based on the example of the publishing market in Grudziądz. Finally, the paper presents different types of tourism publications related to the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region of Poland, specifically the town of Grudziądz.
