Summary/Abstract: After the Armistice with Bulgaria in September 1918 was signed, the fate of the Romanian territory acquired through the Peace from Bucharest was at risk because of the Bulgarian irredentism. Due to the internal instability of the southern neighbors and the terrorist actions of the komitadjis at the Romanian-Bulgarian border, both the state security of Romania and the fragile peace installed after the general armistice in 1918 were threatened.
