Summary/Abstract: After the Great Unification of 1918, the efforts of the Romanian State were channeled towards the struggle of completing the unification by, among other things, obtaining a unitary legal framework. The entire interwar period was marked in the legislative plan by efforts to achieve complete legislative unification. In 1933, in the pages of the legal journal "Gazeta Tribunalelor" (1919-1944), some of the leaders of Romanian law (Gh. Cloni, C. Xeni, I.Gr. Periețeanu, Gh. Cotescu, Gr.L. Trancu-Iași) debated this fundamental issue in a series of articles.
