Summary/Abstract: The strings of industrial revolutions, especially the 3rd and 4th revolutions, have greatly re-defined today’s learning environment, as well as teacher and student roles and the learning process itself. Due to the explosive developments in info-communication and technology from the 1990s, the new generations (PRENSKY 2001) have also armed themselves with innovative devices. The effects of this tendency are tangible in their lifestyles and the different levels of digital literacy. We truly believe that in this modern world where digital learning, augmented and virtual learning environments are discussed, opportunities provided by recent technologies should be mined to their greatest potential in order to enhance students’ attention and motivation. This will turn the learning-teaching process interactive, exciting and experiencebased, and also make updated contents easily available anytime and anywhere for learners. The examples and good practices presented in the study can highlight the development and extension of the elements and framework of a new, network- and experience-based methodology that is adaptive to micro-and mezzo-environment.
