Overview of assisted human reproduction

Summary/Abstract: Medically assisted human reproduction is a human right, in the broadest sense, part of reproductive rights, and a women's right, in a narrow sense, whose consecration is non-unitary at European level. The ethical and legal controversies surrounding the practical application of this subjective right represents a delicate subject, over which many authorities with legislative prerogatives prefer to ignore it in its details, the situation not being different from this point of view even in Romania.
