Summary/Abstract: The digital competence appears both in the curriculum of the Community of Madrid being one of the eight main skills, and in the abilities established by the European Union. By definition, teaching languages means building and developing communication skills in order to resize the intercultural perception that students have about the world around us. The contributions of ICTs (Information and communication technologies) in the development of language teaching are essential, and the teachers cannot ignore these tools in their daily practice. One of the main objectives pursued in this research is to demonstrate that the IWB (Interactive White Board) in the class of FLE (French as a foreign language), ELE (Spanish as a foreign language) or ILE (English as a foreign language) is more than a device but a real vector of communication between teacher and student in different stages of language achievement. Is about a new space in the class that changes the ways of how the teacher is intervening during the class and for the students supposes a change between the relations with authentic or non-authentic documents.
