Summary/Abstract: In this study we are giving some data on the assimilation of Orthodox Albanians in the city of Prilep, based mainly on Bulgarian and Serbian historiography. Although Serbian and Bulgarian researchers bring us many distorted facts and according to their views, nevertheless these facts serve as documents for the large number of Orthodox Albanians in the city of Prilep and the surrounding area. Also in this study are reflected some documents and scripts found in Macedonia written in the Albanian dialect of Reka, but in the Cyrillic alphabet. We shed light on an inscription in the Cyrillic alphabet written on a tombstone of 1889. This tombstone was found in the Orthodox cemetery of Tetovo, on that stone there is an inscription dedicated to an Albanian from Reka from the village of Duf, buried in Tetovo. In addition to the original script, it is transliterated into today's alphabet. In the second document we also reflect a document with Cyrillic letters found in the village of Niçipur of Upper Reka that is from 1868. This manuscript was written by Joan (Gjon) Serafimi in the Albanian dialect of Reka. These documents prove that the Albanian population with the Orthodox religion has been present in the churches and has had a prosperous church life. and writings in the Cyrillic alphabet We also conclude that in their writings, masses and cemeteries, Albanians, although rarely, but have used the Albanian language with the Cyrillic alphabet. These may be evidence that in the official services and communications, the Albanian language has also occupied an important place.
