Summary/Abstract: The modern dynamic world offers too many different challenges in all aspects of our existence. We live in a reality in which creativity, ability for versatile thinking; complex skills and adaptability are more valuable than the amount of knowledge in a given sphere. The school becomes a centre for acquiring fundamental skills and competences required for the dignified existence of a person, and learning throughout one’s whole life becomes a necessity and reality. One of the contemporary unconventional ways of learning is e-learning. It is an online process based on instructions and put into effect via computers. Electronic means enable students to feel more intrigued by the content and to perceive learning as something entertaining and pleasant, which can bring new knowledge to them (one of the major objectives of a teacher). The aim of this paper is to research the possibilities for the development of the key competence “Ability to Study” in the teaching of Bulgarian Language and Literature through the application of various digital resources.
