Specifics of the Ownership as a Subjective Property Right

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the right of ownership in its capacity of a subjective property right. Its distinctive features are revealed and it is pointed out that they do not relate to its ,positive" or ,negative" sides. It is emphasised that if something differentiates it from the other property rights, it is:1) its role of notional centre for the whole system of property figures; 2) its character of a complete property right; 3) its role as a basis for establishing the whole range of limited property rights; 4) its character of flexible right and 5) its juridical division into two base classification groups - of the public and the private property. Each of the mentioned characteristics is carefully examined.
