Summary/Abstract: This paper proposes an approach to the Spanish governmental translator program Spanish literary works into foreign languages. After a quantitative analysis of the literary works selected for translation during the years 2006-11 we stablish the authors and publishing houses who benefited more these institutional grants promoted by the Spanish Ministry of Culture. Finally we focus on the translation of Bolaño’s and Gamoneda’s works.
