Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the group of Spaniards residing in Poland. Although the group is not very numerous, its presence in the country constitutes a new phenomenon, hitherto rarely analysed. In addition to the only existing study of the subject, the article is based on interviews conducted with Spanish immigrants and on the contents of the monthly review published by Spanish editors in Poland. The article not only presents characteristics of the group of young Spaniards on the move, but also intends to reconstruct the way they perceive the host country and its inhabitants, stressing the differences between Polish and Spanish social attitudes and customs that influence the process of adaptation of Spanish immigrants in Poland.
